Remote work due to corona virus?

Attention is our greatest asset

Hi there. If you're reading this, you are probably someone who spends a majority of their time in front of a computer.
But instead of focusing on what's wrong, we want to celebrate the power of its opposite.
You probably have a full todo list, multiple windows open with gazillion tabs, and are pulled into different chat rooms all the time.

But have you ever stopped and thought about what makes you come alive at work? What ticks your boxes? What consumes you for hours and hours in a run?

Work was supposed to be creative, challenging, and rewarding - but somehow, it turned to constantly multitasking, spending hours roaming emails, and answering in chat rooms.
If you're like most others, you are checking your email and IM's every sixth minute, spending 40% of your day multitasking in communication tools, and doing a quarter of your work on evenings and weekends.

But instead of focusing on what's wrong, we want to celebrate the power of its opposite. And that's were Astrid comes in.

We want to break free from believed notions on productivity and "busyness," and instead help makers, doers, and thinkers around the world to do more of the meaningful work. Astrid works as your productivity coach and enables you to create a distraction-free environment and follow through on your goals, even when working from home.

Astrid is zero clutter, distraction-free productivity — wherever you are working.

Hopefully, you've now got a better picture of why Astrid is important. We need early adopters like you to break new ground. Try out the product and let us know how we can help you stay productive.
Our story :book:
Astrid was founded in Stockholm 2018 by entrepreneurs Per Jonsson and Ashkan Safaee with the mission to help you create a distraction-free work environment.

Ashkan and Per met at an event several years ago. Per was building a software company and Ashkan was coaching leaders and CEO's. Later, they joined forces on a Edtech-startup. Both was practicing meditation, which led them to noticing distractions in everyday life.

Frustrated by the lack of tools to help you stay focused, the team built a prototype that later became Astrid.
Hi, I'm Per - CTO and Co-founder :wave_tone2:
Before starting Astrid I founded a technology company called Jumpstarter backed by Earlybird. I've spent the last 7 years practicing different attention management techniques giving me a deeper understanding of what it means to be in .
And I'm Ashkan - CEO and Co-founder :wave_tone3:
Before starting Astrid I was managing sales teams with hundreds of employees for some of Sweden's largest companies which trained me as a leader, mentor and coach.
